Monad's Memecoin Tier List — Ranked by On-Chain Data

A data monograph measured from NullTerminal's on-chain index of Monad DEX swaps. Snapshot: July 24, 2026. Tier calls are editorial; every metric is raw on-chain data.

We pulled every named memecoin that has traded through a Monad DEX — 373 of them — and ranked them by what actually happened, not by what their Telegram says. Of 373 named memes, 203 (more than half) never cleared $1,000 of lifetime volume; only 158 traded at all in the last week. The entire named-meme economy moved about $155M — a rounding error next to the chain's blue chips, but where nearly all of Monad's culture lives.

The rubric — how a meme earns its tier

Tier S — The Graduate

One coin cleared the bar between a meme and an asset: real size, broad holders, and a pulse that never stopped. CHOG has the trappings of a real project — a website (chog.xyz), an X account (@chognft) and a community portal — the widest holder base (22,333 wallets) of any Monad meme, and it's still trading nine months after launch.

TokenVolumeAvg tradeWallets30dStatus
CHOG$24.2M$6422,333$567KAlive

Tier A — Living Memes

Still actively traded by real buyers this week — meaningful 30-day volume, average trades in the tens of dollars. moncock is the degen flagship ($10.6M, @moncocktakeover); emo has the strongest current pulse of any meme ($82K in the last week, @emonadcoin); and the standout wildcard is JAMES — 19 days old, all its volume from the last month — whose token profile carries the name and X account (@_jhunsaker) of Monad co-founder James Hunsaker, which helps explain how a two-week-old coin pulled seven-figure volume from a standing start.

TokenVolumeAvgWallets30d
moncock$10.6M$807,562$150K
emo$5.3M$349,165$209K
JAMES$1.4M$491,776$1.4M (19 days old)

MONIGGA$566K$423,840$48K

Tier B — Faded Runners

Real runs — millions in lifetime volume, real human-sized trades — but the pulse has flatlined. Great charts, quiet order books.

TokenVolumeAvgWallets30d
NADS$6.9M$6510,232$20K
ANAGO$6.5M$567,386$1.4K

BOB$979K$374,680$49K
ALLOCA$832K$1371,854$274

Tier C — The Farm

Enormous trade and wallet counts, average trade sizes of one to fifteen dollars. Not conviction — airdrop farming and bot churn. Trade count is vanity; average trade size is the tell.

MONI$469K$1715,613675,762
MONSHI$534K$1675,444618,275

MOYAKI$366K$752,03043,441

Tier D — The Graveyard

There's no table for Tier D because there's nothing to show. It's the 203 tokens that never cleared $1,000, plus a long tail of once-hopeful tickers — GONAD, RUN, IDGAF, LBJ, LEMON, Monald and hundreds more — that pulled a few thousand dollars and then flatlined for good. On a chain where launching a token costs almost nothing and blocks come every 300ms, the graveyard is by far the biggest tier — what an open, frictionless launchpad looks like at scale.

The verdict

Graduation is rare — exactly one meme, CHOG, has the size, holders and pulse to sit in a class of its own. The middle is a fade machine: dozens of coins printed millions in real trades then went quiet within weeks. And the loudest numbers lie — MONI and MONSHI show hundreds of thousands of trades and wallets, almost all bots clicking a one-dollar button. None of this is a knock on Monad; it's what a fast, cheap, open launchpad produces, and the on-chain record lets you tell the hits from the graveyard in seconds.

Method & sources

Aggregated from NullTerminal's on-chain index of Monad DEX swaps, joined to our token catalog, snapshotted July 24, 2026. "Named memecoin" = a token with a symbol not on the official Monad list; volume is USD notional at trade time. Point-in-time snapshot; memecoins are volatile and most go to zero — on-chain measurement, not investment advice.
